For this layout I used a sketch! I forgot how much I love using sketches and when I saw Missy Whidden using this one it inspired me to get creating. The sketch is from a blog post on Creative Scrappers (creativescrappers.blogspot.com) from November 30, 2014, sketch number 283 by Kristine Davidson. If you checkout the blog post you can scroll down to the bottom to see some other examples of scrapbook layouts designed from this sketch.
For mine I used some extra planner paper I had lying around first cutting it into squares and then triangles. Because the planner paper was so thin I matted the triangles onto a 10x10 piece of white cardstock and once I had the triangles organized just so, I glued them down. I tried to match the paint to the colors on the triangle pieces. I also thought the acrylic butterflies were perfect since they usually symbolize growth and this picture is of my two best friends last year when we were celebrating their birthdays.
